Owner & CEO 

Mistique received a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Ohio University and a Master’s Degree in Nursing from The Ohio State University's #1 Nationally Ranked Master's Program in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing. Mistique has 10+ years of experience working in the mental health field in a variety of setting including inpatient psychiatry, psychiatric emergency services, outpatient psychiatric services including medication management, managing PHP/IOP level of care and consultation services prior to founding Untangled Psychiatry. 

Mistique is trained and skilled at assessing, diagnosing and treating a variety of mental health disorders and conditions. Her approach is culturally sensitive, taking full account of the impact of biological, environmental and social factors on mental health.  She believes each person’s life experience is unique and will take the time to listen and ask questions to build a therapeutic relationship with clients in order to make sure they feel their needs are being met and they are able to achieve both short and long-term goals to improve their mental wellness. Mistique will work with you, together as a team, to reduce symptoms, increase coping/resilience, foster insight and facilitate growth. 

Mistique specializes in treating a variety of mood and anxiety disorders in adults with a special interest in: Perinatal/Maternal mental health, Treatment Resistant Depression, Anxiety Disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorders, Mood Disorders, PTSD and Trauma Informed Care, Holistic and Nutritional Psychiatry.

Nicole earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Ohio University and a Master’s degree from Mount Carmel College of Nursing, where she graduated with honors as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner across the lifespan. She has worked in a variety of mental health care settings, including inpatient, outpatient, community mental health, consultation-liaison services, and interventional psychiatry, prior to joining Untangled Psychiatry. Nicole’s philosophy is rooted in collaboration—partnering with patients in a team-centered approach that empowers growth, resilience, and recovery. She is trained and experienced in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of mental health conditions. She values authentic connection and strives to make a positive impact through a combination of listening, therapeutic interventions, and medication management, while taking into consideration each patient’s emotional, social, and lifestyle needs. Nicole is especially passionate about bridging gaps in mental health care, with clinical focus areas including depression, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, mood disorders, and PTSD.
